Ural Airlines has enabled online check-in for its passengers departing from
St. Petersburg Pulkovo Airport. They can now check in at home or at their
office. It saves time, since no check-in is necessary for them at the airport. During
online check-in, passengers can select desired seats in the airplane.
Following prompts step by
step, users check in themselves as well as other passengers travelling with
them, and receive the boarding passes at a convenient time (online check-in
opens 23 hours and finishes 4 hours prior to the departure).
To check in, one should visit the airline's site www.uralairlines.com, select the menu item
"Online Check-in for Flight" on the home page and follow the system prompts. The
passenger is identified either by the e-ticket number, or by his/her name and
reference number, or by the number of the Wings card. To complete the check-in,
the passenger has to print out the boarding pass or the check-in confirmation. Should
it happen so that you have not been able to print out the boarding pass or have
simply left it behind, you will have to come to the check-in counter. Even if
you do not have the boarding pass with you, all the information entered during
online check-in will be stored in the airline's database, and the seat you have
booked will be kept for you.
Please note that online check-in is available for passengers with
ELECTRONIC TICKETS for any direct flight from Pulkovo to destinations in
Russia, the CIS, Israel, Turkey, Egypt, but not - yet - to airports in EU
countries, China and the UAE.
It is especially convenient to passengers travelling without hold baggage:
they can come to the airport just before the start of boarding, spared the
nuisance of queuing before the counter. If you take only hand baggage according
to the requirements of
the airline, you can arrive at the airport at the time most convenient for you.
Please note that the airline has special conditions for some passenger
categories. You can read all the details here or call the
24-hour passenger support service at +7 800-2000-262 (toll-free within Russia).
